So have you wondered what your parents were thinking when they named you? Was it a popular song at the time, a famous person, a favorite vacation spot, or maybe even a childhood pet? Whatever your name is, it could always be worse...check out this article from the BBC. Parents really do need to think when they name their children. I know we enlisted the help of one of our friends to come up with all the smart-ass things people could do with our child's name. Name your kid whatever you want, just please give some thought to the hours upon hours of therapy your kid is going to need if you name him/her "Justin Case" or "Barb Dwyer"...

1/4 ton of weed? Are you kidding me???

While I was listening to Stern show this morning, they mentioned that rapper F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S's tour bus was stopped and they found 500 pounds...say it with me...FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS!!!!!!, that's right 1/4 ton, of marijuana!!!! Are you freaking kidding me?! Now, I don't have a problem with weed, but come on...500 pounds! And oh yeah...he also had $6500 in cash. Apparently he wasn't on the bus, but the guys on the bus ratted him out...here's a link to more details...

Google Finds Atlantis!!?

Survivor : Tocantins Episode 2

I just finished watching the second episode of latest encarnation of Survior.  This season they are in the high desert of Brazil.  In the first episode the "obvious" choice, Sandy, was not voted out, rather Carolina was "blind sided".  Most likely she was voted out because she couldn't keep her mouth shut.  She came back from a challenge and began complaining that they were not accomplishing anything around camp and that they needed to be more active around camp.  So, what happens next, she get's her ticket to the Survivor Hotel punched. 

So this week, what happens...little miss Sierra looks like she is on her way out, but then Candace decides to run her mouth about Coach, and BAM...off she goes to the hotel...and the vote wasn't even close, everyone voted for her.  So two weeks, two tribal councils, two people running their mouths, those same two people voted out.  

Survivor is such a social game, you would think these people would figure out they need to fly under the radar for the first 10 days or so, make friends and don't rub anyone the right or wrong way.  Just hang out, make friends, don't seem like a stud, and stay in the game.

Finally took the leap....
